It was our first time. Me and my husband ordered Salmon roll, Eel Roll, Scallop Roll and miso soup. It was the freshest salmon eel and scallop we have ever had! The rolls are 4 pcs but they are HUGE and packed with seafood so it was worth it! The miso is the best miso we’ve ever had as well!

Most special spot in Ventura. Intimate dining, incredible sushi. Big pieces. If you don’t get here before 5:15, don’t expect to get a seat. They get fully booked quick, so don’t get angry about it, be happy for them!!

Tiny speck of a neighborhood haunt with 4 or 5 tables and a scant 6 stools at a sushi bar. Service is friendly, timely and professional. Fish is as fresh as the Ocean and whatever came into Ventura or Santa Barbara in today's catch. Omakase for $60 pp and an amazing specials board with fresh eel, uni, sea bream, wahoo, scallops, amaebi, blue fin toro, and many others. Sake menu -- and Japanese beers -- complete the traditional experience.

Great place for sushi place after our fun day at the ocean. We take out our food and brought it to Leashless Brewery and watch NBA finals. Love all their sushi’s. The rolls are. Price are not bad, too many choices to choose from yummy sushi rolls to noodles and more.

It is not easy to find a traditional Japanese sushi bar in this area: Koba sushi is definitely your best option, if you're looking for one! Toshi san offers no frills, interesting and fresh nigiri cuts with generous portions at the right price. Highly recommended, I will go again when I find myself in the area.
